O M F G!!!!! i just got back from the green day concert, and let me tell you...it was one of the BEST nights of my whole life...
First christina came over around 5ish, and watched me finish my makeup, and helped me decide how to do my hair...which actually, took a lonng time, haha. I just couldn't decide whether to put it up or to put it down..but anyway..i finished, and then crystal came over, and i did her eye makeup. HAHA (("LOOK UP!!! NO...LOOK DOWN!!!)) it was funny, being that she was the first person that i have ever put eye makeup on. Then it was my next victim--christina. I did her's a lot faster than i did crystal's, but oh well...then we left around 6:30...in the car i was trying to make it comfortable for me to put my camera in my shoe...i just used napkins, and it was all good..i got it in..and crystal had my other camera in her shirt, haha (("does this look obvious" me:no..it just looks like you have a big rack)) haha...We got there..i thought i would see a lot more people i knew there than i did..i saw some people, but not as much as i thought...so we got in fine..bought our merchandise!! i bought a green sweatshirt, and black tour shirt, and a poster...then we walked around for like 10 minutes trying to figure out where the heck our seats were, then we finally realized we were going the wrong way..so we had to walk all the way around, and finally got to our seats. They were A LOT better than what i thought..you could actually see the whole stage, like the ticket description said. We were just sitting there, waiting for my chemical romance to go on and do their thing..they were alright i guess..basically just noise to me..but oh well..i was so happy when they were over because i knew who was coming next!!
so we wait for like 30 minutes, and then the pink DRUNK BUNNY comes on stage!! i was so happy, because i had heard about him, and there he was--RIGHT THERE. it made me very happy...but not as happy as when GREEN DAY came on..
the lights went out, and everyone started screaming their heads off..including me, obviously. They finally came on stage, and it was amazing for them to be RIGHT there..right in front of me..i was actually in the same room as billie joe armstrong, tre cool, and mike dirnt,the men i have been counting down to see since i bought the tickets..so they opened with american idiot, which was flat out INCREDIBLE. they went into jesus of suburbia next, the 9 minute song that i knew EVERY SINGLE word to, thank you :)...they played holiday next, which rocked, then they played, i think it was longview..which was incredible...then it was we are the waiting and st.jimmy which kicked major booty :)...they played so many awesome old time hits, i dont remember the order though...it just..rocked.
billie joe, of course, was an AMAZING performer..all of the guys did awesome..billie joe did the normal thrusting of his hips, running around like the hot man he is, and doing his little leg kicks when he jumped into the air while playing the guitar. He even played it with his teeth, tongue, and behind he head..that billie is one talented human being :)....one of my favorite parts was when billie said not to let the government dictate us, and we should do what WE want to do, and decide what WE want to watch..and of course, i loved it when he replaced "somebody shot the president" to "somebody fucked the president"..i liked it..and also when billie joe said "my name is george w. bush", and everyone booed, but then he said, ok..my name is idiot..and every cheered..i loved it, because well, george w. bush IS an idiot...For king for a day, he wore the crown, which was just AWESOME, because i had heard about that too..and there it was....before that though, billie put on devil horns, which was one of the cutest things i think i have ever seen..it looked like he was in his halloween costume or something, haha...then while they were doing "shout", billie was like humping the ground, and had a cape and a crown put on him..man does royalty suit him well ;)....He did the masturbating during hitchin' a ride, which i FREAKED OUT about, because he was making us make all of these really weird orgasmic noises, and at first i didnt know where he was going with that, but then when i saw his hands down his pants, and thrusting, haha...i knew EXACTLY where he was going..haha..he had this little kid come onstage and help him squirt the water guns..and it was adorable when billie put his arm around the kid, showing him how to use it..it was just so cute :)..so everyone was screaming their heads off..singing along..then they start playing knowledge, which is from their very first album..and like the whole area where i was went silent. People were clapping, i guess..but like, no one knew the song, and i was so so happy that i was one of the ones that actually knew the song..a proud moment for a green day fanatic..so yea, knowledge was the song where they made the band..the guy that was going to play the guitar was KISSED by billie joe..OMFG..i was ESTATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! again, i had only HEARD about it, and i actually SAW IT..I SAW BILLIE JOE KISS ANOTHER MAN..and that my friends, made me sooo extremely happy..that like, made my day..maybe my life! :D..........during wake me up when september ends, i was almost in tears, but didnt have tears fall down my face..i wasn't trying to hold anything back, it just didnt hit me as hard as that song usually does...billie joe did an incredible job, and i really felt it was from the heart, the way he performed it...then they broke out in MINORITY, which is like one of my all time favorites...so i freaked out when they played that..did my little dance for that song..and basically went c r a z y....during the encore with we are the champions, billie joe yelled out, "im rick james, bitch!" haha..im pretty sure that's a reference to the chapelle show :)..towards the end of that song..when it was just billie standing there, playing..i was praying that that wouldnt be it, and that he would play time of your life, because that is one of my favorite songs of all time..so he finally did play it, and again, i almost cried..i was closer to crying with this song then i was with wmuwse...but it was just all amazing. I had binoculars (or bis--haha item--you're funny :) ) so i could see billie joe CRYSTAL CLEAR..it was incredible..he looked incredible..i think im in love, haha...i think i am now admitted that yes, i am obsessed with not only green day, but with billie joe armstrong..all the images i saw..of him running around stage, masturbating, thrusting, almost seeing his butt (EEE!!!)..will ALWAYS stay with me, and i will NEVER forget this night...green day was my favorite band before, and after tonight they only reassured me that i definetly have the right favorite band..they're just..incredible..and i COULD of met them, or at least said hi, because we found the place where all the buses were, and the security guy said dont go past the guard rail..so we moved. then these 4 girls are just standing there..where they're NOT SUPPOSED to be standing..we TRIED to be mean, and we TRIED to be bossy about it..but nooo they didnt listen, and because of that, we ALL got kicked out..it stunk so incredibly bad..the only fun part about that was watching these 2 people fight using light sabers (or however you spell it)..i was cracking all these jokes about it, and this older guy kept laughing at what i said..it was amusing..i had an audience!! haha...but i wasn't going to give up on trying to see them that easy...we walked around the same parking lot we just got kicked out of for 5 mintues, then i thought of a new way we could attempt to try to see them...we walked all the all the way around, and tried to get to another fence, but there was security everywhere, so we just stayed in this little corner at the front of the arena, hoping a bus with them in it would show up..but nothing showed...which made me so ticked off because i reallllllyyyy wanted to say hi, or get an autograph..and those girls just had to go and completely ruin it..oh well i guess..they cant ruin the fun i had...all i can really say to sum it up, is just..wow. They really do put on an incredible show. If you havent seen them live, i would strongly suggest you do, because you wont regret it..it was the best concert i have EVER been to..it tops the jingle ball, ashlee simpson, britney spears, indigo girls, avril lavigne, hanson, and alanis morisette all together and multiplied by infinity..thats how great these guys were. I wish i was going to the show tomorrow, but im seriously thinking that will only happen in my dreams, haha...well, im am so tired, and i feel my voice getting weaker..and i am slowly shutting down..i hear my bed calling my name..and im sure i will not be able to think of anything else besides this incredible..fantastic..awesome..inspiring..joyful...and any other synonym for great..night.
